About the role
We are looking for a responsible and high-performing Executive Assistant to support a member of our Group Executive Committee and his direct reports (note that, while based in Leeds, the role reports to an Amsterdam-based executive). You will serve as a primary point of contact for both internal (i.e., other executives and managers, business partners) and external (i.e., academic and public policy staff) constituencies and provide high-quality administrative and clerical assistance as a member of our professional support team. This important role requires excellent collaboration skills, good judgment, superior organizational skills, great attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and the ability to confidently juggle multiple priorities. Respect, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential information is vital, as is a good sense of humour and perspective.
The successful candidate will be able to complete tasks and projects quickly with minimal guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations requiring rapid turnaround, and be able to take action without having the complete picture. Lowell operates across the UK, DACH, and Nordic regions and you will, therefore, be expected to work effectively across cultures. Leading candidates will have previous Executive Assistant experience with a technical, scientific, or leading financial services firm and the ideal candidate will also have some measure of proficiency with German, Dutch, or a Nordic language.
