Mental Health Advocate
In this session we will look at the importance of been aware of our Mental Fitness. How it can be influenced by Risk and Protective Factors. We look at how we can measure and monitor it and look at a few tools and strategies to keep our Mental Fitness in a good place. We will highlight the importance of Sleep and what things can be affecting it in a positive/negative way. Lastly we’ll look at the vital component of practising Self-Care.
About Johnny
Johnny Lawless is a former professional Rugby League Player. He played over 230 Super League games in the 1990’s/ 2000’s. Representing both England and Ireland at International level he played in a World Cup in 2000. Playing for Sheffield Eagles in 1998 he played in the infamous biggest upset in Challenge Cup history by beating the mighty Wigan Warriors at Wembley Stadium. Nowadays Johnny’s passion and purpose is promoting positive Mental Fitness through his unique 6 Part Mental Fitness Programme ‘Mind Gym’. His company Minds Matter is committed to spreading awareness and reducing stigma around Mental Health.
