The event will start with informal networking where you can meet other assistants with a welcome drink and canapés. Our networking is easy-going and friendly. If it is your first visit you will be introduced to others so you don’t have to worry about being left standing on your own. This is a forum to meet other peers from your profession in a relaxed atmosphere while learning and developing at the same time.
We have special guest speaker Deborah Ogden speaking about First Impressions, Impact & Influence covering creating a great first impression. This will be an an interactive session showing you how to show your personal brand and stand out from the crowd..
About Deborah
Before launching her own company, Deborah Ogden had a career in marketing and communications with the British Heart Foundation, CIS, Lancashire County Cricket Club and CragRats.
Networking and pitching for business are not easy, especially when times are tough. As an experienced Media Manager and a specialist in appearance, non-verbal communication and confidence building, there isn’t much Deborah doesn’t know about getting your personal message across.
And by the way, if you think it’s all about heels and tailoring for Deborah, you’re wrong! Her husband and young son make sure that Saturday mornings are spent on the touchline at football practice kitted out with wellies, waterproofs and a flask of coffee!
