Christmas comes early at The PA Hub Christmas Showcase

The festive season started early in Leeds recently as over 70 PA professionals descended on Cloth Hall Court on Thursday 14th September to attend The PA Hub’s Christmas Showcase evening. Cloth Hall Court by Well Met, Leeds Beckett University’s conference office, hosted attendees from around 40 local businesses including: bars, restaurants, corporate gifting suppliers and hotels  – all offering their Christmas wares and ideas to the PAs of Yorkshire.

Cloth Hall Court was transformed into a Christmas wonderland for the evening, which provided PAs with the opportunity to browse the Christmas packages available from each exhibitor. Well Met’s hospitality included creating festive cocktails and delicious canapés from the in-house catering team which is headed up by Charlie Denison, formerly of Bettys and Taylors of Harrogate. The evening event included more than a hint of festive fun with competitions and prizes being offered by venues, highlighting the quality of Christmas events packages in the city.

The recently refurbished Cloth Hall Court boasts state-of-the-art facilities for conferences, meetings and events in the heart of the city; the venue was developed as a response to the increased demand for Well Met’s offering, with the conferencing outfit having seen significant growth since they were established 10 years ago.

This will be the third PA Hub event hosted by Well Met; the partnership, which began in 2015, provides a mutually beneficial platform for both businesses as Marion Lowrence, Founder of The PA Hub,  explains:

“The PA Hub is an exclusive membership network for PA professionals with some of the most influential contacts from many prestigious companies in Yorkshire and Merseyside. We believe it is key that our organisation has strong partnerships with local businesses and working with Well Met is a great example of this. The addition of Cloth Hall Court to their portfolio makes their offering even more attractive; the recent Christmas showcase highlighted just how flexible the venue can be – even when we asked them to ‘deck the halls’ at the beginning of September!”

“Well Met are strong supporters of The PA Hub and hugely appreciate the work they do with ourselves and the wider University. Their showcase events are a great way to get together with local PAs and highlight the variety that Leeds has to offer – along with it being a great platform for Well Met to host show-rounds of our venues and facilities. As a new venue, the Christmas showcase evening was the perfect way to introduce local PAs to Cloth Hall Court and we were really thrilled with the positive feedback we received.”
